(TESLIN, YUKON) The Board of Directors of Deisleen Development Corporation (DDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Board Members, Julie Scoble and Jeff Myke, along with the re-appointment of Board Member John Burdek.
These appointments bring a diversity of skills, knowledge and experience to the board and are welcomed as DDC continues its work in support of workforce development, opportunity readiness and the advancement of community development priorities within Teslin Tlingit Traditional Territory.
Board appointees are chosen by Teslin Tlingit Council as the sole member of DDC. Since 2013, DDC’s mission has been to foster strong social, economic, environmental, and culturally sustainable community development opportunities within Teslin Tlingit Traditional Territory. The Board of Directors consists of nine members who provide essential direction and oversight to the organization on behalf of the community:

At this time DDC’s Board of Directors also wishes to acknowledge the contribution of Tim Dewhurst, who served as Director for over a decade. Atlien Gunalchéesh to Tim for his dedication, commitment and service to the community.
